You all might have heard about Leonardo da Vinci But do you know why he is still so famous even today? most Asians are not aware of it. Hence at first, I want to tell you all, why Leonardo is considered one the greatest person in the world and why people call him one of the finest geniuses?
Why Leonardo is called a genius?
Leonardo Da Vinci was an inventor, painter, sculptor, architect, scientist, mathematician, engineer, writer, if still, you are finding it less, then let's add on more skills. He was good in other fields as well, he was good in Anatomy, Geology, Literature, Botany, Astronomy, Cartography and history. Nowadays also so many subjects all together are not available in colleges which Leonardo was master.
He is still one of the best painter, whose painting Mona Lisa has been considered the most famous painting. He was Ambidextrous means he can write with both of his hands. Similarly, many more interesting things Leonardo has done in his life because of which many Historians and others used to call him a universal genius.
Now, why I am telling you all this, Because today we are going to talk about seven principles which Leonardo DaVinci used to follow in his life and because of it only he become such a great person.
let's get started to know about those principles.
Seven principles of Leonardo DaVinci
(1) curiosity
Hardly anyone in this world would be as curious as Da Vinci, he was a very curious person. He wanted to know about each and everything. He was always ready and very curious to learn new things and hence it was the main reason for him to invent such useful things and achieve a lot in his life.
The more you have a curiosity related to any field, the more chances you will become a master in it. hence, try to ask yourself as many questions as to find out the answer.
If you want to start a business then as many thoughts, ideas arise in your mind write it down and start finding its answers, do maintain a book. or a Journal and write it daily. Almost every genius maintain their book or a special journal in which they write whatever they learn in their life. Davinci also maintained such books in which he used to write every day even I follow this, Hence even you maintain a book or Journal by this your curiosity level will increase and you will complete first to become a genius.
2) Demonstration-
Whenever Da Vinci used to learn anything new, he never used forget that just by listening or reading it But instead, he used to test it by himself, he used to experience it by taking action.
In a previous point, I have said about to maintain a notebook or a journal because it will be very helpful for us to achieve our goals and to become intelligent and many of you'll have had understood it but very few of you are going to follow it. To be very honest, these few people have the capabilities to become geniuses.
In simple terms having practical experience is much more important and beneficial than theory. Those who do things can practically become more genius. No matter how good things I explain and teach, if you do not apply that knowledge practically then it will never help you little also.
3) Sensations:
Da Vinci used to use his 6 senses very nicely, properly and at most of his time, meaning he used to look at things in detail. Hence it was the reason he was able to understand things in so detail. You should make use of your senses in detail not only related to the eyes.
If you are listening to something, listen attentively. If you are listining to music, try to understand the pattern, if you are holding something try to feel it. If you are breathing try to enjoy the fragrance and natural beauty of oxygen around you. Don't only eat to full your stomach instead feel the taste. This thing in modern terms is also known as Mindfulness, which will surely help to increase focus. Hence try to use your senses as much as possible.
4) Comfort with paradox
This is one of my favourite principles and it is very also, so do understand it properly. Suppose I say to a man that "killing some person is not right" and on another side, I meet another person and say to him "taking life isn't bad".
If there is a third person with a normal mentality and heard me both the time then he will immediately start judging me. He will say "this person is so bad talks rubbish, double standard man".
However, If that person would be of genius mentality, then he wouldn't have judged me so quickly. He would have tried to understand both the situation. He would have asked me that why I changed my sentence. By asking me he would have understood that the first person I talked to was a criminal and another was an army officer.
Genius doesn't act without thinking they first try to understand the whole situation and after that they take action.
5) Arts and Science
Davinci used to give equal importance to both, science as well as arts. Today normal people thinking has changed nowadays people give more importance to science for them science is everything and according to the arts is waste and useless thing.
If you want to give importance then you should give equal importance and value to both the fields because to get any result in any field, you need both science as well as arts. No matter how good things you create but without using arts nobody would like it.
Whether we say it or not we humans like beautiful, interesting things. Even you start improving your creativity because it is very important to become a genius.
6) Body and mind.
World's some very intelligent and genius people including Leonardo da Vinci was physically fit, attractive and was strong. He used to walk a lot, he was a good swimmer, used to do horse riding and also used to exercise.
Our body and brain are connected and for proper blood supply and to make our brain work at its best, physical strong health is must required. If you want to become a genius then do give extra care to your health and to care about health doesn't mean to do the only exercise but the truth is that for a healthy life diet is more important than exercise.
7) Everything is connected to everything
Genius people have one more special thing in them that they see connection and pattern in different things. Even Da Vinci has a belief that everything is connected. From this principle, we can learn two things.
1) See connections between different things.
2) you are very important.
You alone can impact a lot on the world and to the entire universe. If you don't believe me and think that I am telling a very huge statement then do one thing read the concept named butterfly effect. You will understand what I am telling you.
Leonardo's principles are still alive in this modern world also. If we apply his principle in our life then there is no doubt that we will also become geniuses.
