Will power allows us to harder decisions in harder times it makes us mentally strong. It is the ability to do something which we don't like. Will power makes all the difference in the world. It is the reason behind most successful stories. Will power makes us disciplined in today's world most people live in their comfort zone due to which they tend to have low will power. If you want to be different from the crowd then you must boost your will power. One major question that arises about Will power is how to boost it several proven techniques help increase will power. In this post, I am going to share with you some of those techniques which will help you a lot.





Try practising it


Most people treat will power like a muscle and there is nothing wrong with it. Just like you can increase your muscles by exercising you can also increase your will power by exercising it. You need to do work which you don't like by doing so you will challenge your will power .you have to perform hard work which is mentally tough for you you can take an example, choosing fruit over chocolate, choosing the book over social media. You have to determine some tough task and try to complete it. After practising this you will see changes in yourself.




use your non-dominating hand


It is one of the best technique to boost will power. Most of us are dependent on one hand. The non-dominating hand is the hand which we less use to do any work. Now you have to change this you should try to do the majority of the task in your day to day life with your non-dominating hand if you brush daily with your right hand then try to do brushing with your left hand this will improve your will power. If you do most of your work with your left hand and then try to perform with your right hand or if you use your right hand most then try to use your left hand most. When you perform work with your non-dominating hand your brain will see changes and it will try to overcome come it in doing so it will learn new things and this will make your brain work. It is a small technique but it has a big benefit.


Give the right food to your brain


Will power and decision making are related to each other. recent studies show that if you have a poor diet then you are more likely to make emotional choices. A better diet keeps you healthy physically and mentally both and it also allows you to make a better decision. You must replace junk foods with green and healthy fruits and vegetables. Trade out one cup of coffee or soda for tea or water. Replace your cinnamon sugar-based for a whole grain option. You must also increase your dairy products intake these small changes can help you a lot to boost your will power.


Control your stress


Stress can also be the major reason for to decrease in will power. You must control your stress. Stress affects the will power you should stay calm. stress management is necessary to boost will power.




Meditate


Meditation has a large no of benefits and meditation is also one of the proven methods to boost will power. Practising meditation will benefit you a lot. If you are going to try meditation for the first time then it will be hard for you but as you will practice it daily it will become easy for you. Meditation will not only help you to increase will power but also control your negative thoughts. I suggest that you should be practising meditation in the morning.




Reward yourself


By reading it's you may have realised that you are going to get a gift from your self. It is a useful technique in which you have to set some goals or target and set a reward with it whenever you reach your goal reward yourself. With this rewarding technique, you will be able to work more efficiently about your goals and it will be very helpful for you but don't try this technique too much.
