How much sleep you should take

 


Nowadays some people think that sleeping is a waste of time. They say that if they will sleep then when they will do work and studies. According to them, one should take a maximum of six hours of sleep.
Sleep is not a passive process it is an active process. Sleep relaxes our mind, boost our immunity and restores our memory overall sleep work as a servicing to our body. Now the latest studies show that it is important to sleep more than seven hours if you want to understand things better and to improve memory concentration power. Sleeping not only makes us physically fit but also keeps us mentally healthy. If you will not sleep for more than seven hours then your focus and your concentration will get badly affected. If you are a student and you take maximum sleep of six hours or less than it in an order to save time to study then you are wrong.  By decreasing your sleep time you are decreasing memory power and to study you need better memory power. Studying doesn't mean just holding your books in your hands for hours. Studying means taking knowledge from outside and you can do it by getting better sleep. Concentration power, reasoning power and memory power all depend on how much sleep you take. Better sleep not only helps in studies it can be helpful in every field.



The study also says that if you sleep continuously less than seven hours for the days then your brain performance will be as similar to a person who hasn't taken asleep for ten days. Sleeping for less than seven hours is very common because people think by doing this they buy time for them and it makes them productive.  Taking less sleep decreases our brain performance and the worst thing is that we stay unaware of this problem. Now some of you might be taking sleep for less than seven hours and don't feel any side-effects in you but that's the problem you can't identify changes in yourself. Some people easily accept that they are not intelligent or they don't have sharp memory but if they will give some rest to their brain then they will be able to perform better than average.

Now let's talk about people who are unable to take proper sleep at night. It is a much bigger problem than taking less sleep. Researches say that driving after not getting proper sleep can be more dangerous as compared to driving after drinking alcohol.

How much sleep you should take

You should take an average sleep of 7-8 hours every day and remember sleep is not a waste of time. It is necessary to get better sleep in an order to keep your brain and body healthy. There are only a few people in this world who anomaly without any problem every after taking less sleep. This type of people is very rare. If you think you are one of them then it chanced are very low so it's better to take asleep as it's important aspect of our life.
